Sacramento Earth Day – FAQs

When and where is Sacramento Earth Day? The event is every April at Southside Park in Sacramento, CA. Visit Sacramento Earth Day for this year’s date and times.

Does ECOS need volunteers to help with the event? Yes, we really need volunteers! Especially with table set up in the morning and return to the trucks at the end of the day. We need at least 80 volunteers. You will receive a free t-shirt! To volunteer, start here: Sacramento Earth Day.

How can I reserve a booth space at the event? Start here: Sacramento Earth Day. Note that the registration fee for a space is waived for sponsors, as part of sponsor benefits.

If I reserve a booth space, are chairs and a table provided? What time should I set up? May I drive in the park? See Become an Exhibitor or Vendor.

Is accessible car parking nearby? Is this a walker-friendly venue? Accessible parking is located on the streets near park entrances. Walkways in the park are level. See http://www.cityofsacramento.org/ParksandRec/Parks/Park-Directory/Central-City/Southside-Park.

May I give out free food samples? Only if you follow the requirements. See Become an Exhibitor or Vendor for requirements. Please comply or you may be fined and ECOS’ park permit may be denied for future events. Thank you.

May I hold a raffle? No, raffles are prohibited by City of Sacramento park regulations.

Are dogs allowed? Yes, dogs are allowed at Sacramento Earth Day. City Park Laws apply.
