Do you have a question about Sacramento Earth Day? Please review some of the most Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about Sacramento Earth Day here. If you still have a question, please email our office at office[at]ecosacramento[dot]net.
When and where is Sacramento Earth Day?
Late April at Southside Park in Sacramento, California. Visit https://www.ecosacramento.net/sacearthday/ for this year’s date and times.
Does ECOS need volunteers to help with the event?
Yes, ECOS really needs volunteers! Especially with table set up in the morning and return to the trucks at the end of the day. We need 60 volunteers, at least. You will receive a free t-shirt! Please sign up here.
How can I reserve a table at the event?
There are two ways to get a table at Sacramento Earth day:
1. You can become a Sponsor of Sacramento Earth Day and a complimentary display table can be provided as part of your Sponsor Benefits. Click here for more information.
2. You can register as a Vendor or Exhibitor. Click here for more information.
If I have reserved a table at the event, are the chairs and table provided?
Yes. Read more here.
If I have reserved a table, what time should I plan on setting up in the morning?
About a week before the event, you will receive an email from the exhibitor support team confirming your table location and indicating the time to arrive. Exhibitor set-up is done in three stages, from 8:30, 9:20, and 10:00, depending on location. ECOS will have golf carts to help exhibitors transport their display materials from the 6th Street entrance to the park to the table locations. All set-up must be complete by 11:00.
If you can walk your stuff into the park, feel free to show up any time, as long as you are set up by 11:00 am. A table and two chairs will be waiting for you at your reserved spot.
For more information, contact our exhibitor support team at susanherre[at]gmail[dot]com.
Where are accessible parking spaces on the street? Is this a walker-friendly venue?
Accessible parking spaces are located near entryways to the park. Throughout the park the walkways are level and 10 feet wide. For more info: http://www.cityofsacramento.org/ParksandRec/Parks/Park-Directory/Central-City/Southside-Park.
Can exhibitors drive in the park?
We have been asked by City Parks to reduce the number of vehicles driving within the park to move display materials. Therefore, ECOS will have golf carts to help exhibitors transport display materials from the 6th Street entrance to the park to the table locations.
ECOS does not provide automobile insurance for event participants. If you wish to bring a vehicle on-site for short-term loading, provide ECOS with proof of insurance for the vehicle, and a valid registration form and sticker. Only vehicles with valid insurance and registrations will be allowed within the park.
Can an exhibitor pay to reserve a table via check or cash, instead of the self-registration system?
If you absolutely must, we can make special arrangements for you to pay in cash or check. Please keep in mind that this entails a volunteer using their own card and getting reimbursed, so if there is any way you can use our self-registration system, please do so. Thank you.
Can I give out free samples?
You may give out free samples only if you have the appropriate permits with the Sacramento County Environmental Management Department; you notify ECOS that you will be serving and send ECOS a copy of your permit. Giving out samples of food or beverage without the proper permits is not allowed. You will be fined and put ECOS’ park permit at risk for the following year. Thank you.
Can I host a raffle at my table?
City regulations prohibit gambling on City property such as city parks. The City interprets gambling to include raffles in which something of value is exchanged for the chance to win a prize.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, dogs are allowed at Sacramento Earth Day! City Park Laws apply.
