How can I or my group become a sponsor? You can do it online, by check or potentially with an in-kind donation! Just click here to get started.

Can I give out free samples? If you have the appropriate permits with the Sacramento County Environmental Management Department, and you let us know that you will be serving and provide a copy of your permit. Please do not give any samples of any types of food or beverages that can be consumed by the human body without the proper permits. You will be fined and we will risk our park permit for the following year. Thank you.

Are dogs allowed? Yes, dogs are allowed at Sacramento Earth Day! City Park Laws apply.

If I have registered for a table at the event, are the chairs and table provided? Yes. Read more here.

If I am registered for a table, what time should I plan on setting up in the morning? Detailed logistics information will be emailed to all registered vendors as we get closer to the event. 

Can I host a raffle? City regulations prohibit gambling on city property such as city parks, which the city interprets to include raffles in which something of value is exchanged for the chance to win a prize. Please provide ECOS details on the structure of your raffle by emailing Earl Withycombe at earlwithycombe [at] gmail [dot] com so he can discuss this activity with the parks staff.

Where is handicapped parking? Is this a walker friendly venue? The park has street parking with a number of handicap spaces near entryways. There are also 10 ft wide walkways throughout the park. Can exhibitors drive in the park? We have been asked by City Parks to reduce the number of vehicles driving within the park to move display materials.  We are working on alternatives to driving that we will post on our exhibitor registration page by April 1 – please check this page linked after April 1 for new information. ECOS does not provide automobile insurance for event participants. If you wish to bring a vehicle on-site (e.g. for loading purposes) you need to carry proof of insurance in the vehicle and provide it to us upon request. We will permit vehicles with valid registrations to temporarily access the Park and will refuse access to any vehicle not displaying a current registration sticker.

When does set-up happen for exhibitors? If you can walk your stuff into the park, feel free to show up any time, as long as you are set up by 11:00 am. A table and two chairs will be waiting for you at your reserved spot. Cars are discouraged to drive in the park (see above question) and therefore, are staged in different times. For those who cannot walk their exhibit items into the park, we do set-up in stages and you must be set up by 11:00 am. You will receive an email with the time slot that you have been assigned for set up about four days before the event. If you can walk your items in, you can ignore the time slots and simply be set up by 11:00 am. 

Can an exhibitor pay to reserve a table via check or cash? If you absolutely must, we can make special arrangements for you. Please keep in mind that this entails a volunteer using their own card and getting reimbursed, so if there is any way you can use our self-registration system, please do so. Thank you.
