CalGEM has resumed community input meetings in an online (digital) format. The COVID-19 outbreak halted regional meetings that began in February to help slow the spread of the illness.
Three more workshops–two in English, one in Spanish–will be facilitated online to ensure social distancing. These digital community events will begin with a brief introduction followed by the opportunity for public participants to have two minutes to express their comments on the proposed rule-making. The workshops will be recorded.
Note: The May 20 meeting is primarily for the Los Angeles region. The other two meetings are intended for a statewide audience.
There are additional ways to submit comments through the extended deadline of June 10, 2020. Comments are welcome in the language with which you are most comfortable. We will translate comments and include them with all other submissions received.
Go to: surveymonkey.com/r/calgem-publichealth. Answer two questions to provide your rulemaking input.
