Phone Bank for Beginners to Fight Voter Suppression

September 19, 2020 @ 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
2020 Coalition Sacramento

Uncertain about phone banking? Never phone banked before or had a bad experience? Unsure about the technology? These 2020 Coalition Saturday phone banks are especially designed for beginners!

We will slowly walk you through the basics and provide one-on-one support if needed. We get it – we hate technology too and would rather be in the garden! So join your fellow and sister resisters to do the work together.

Once you register, you will get the the Zoom link and other information needed for the phone bank. Never done Zoom? We have that covered too!

This is a nonpartisan campaign that reaches out to underrepresented voters, mostly low income and people of color. The campaigns vary from week to week and include helping people with mail-in ballots and registering people who have been purged from voter rolls.

To be ready to practice, you will need a computer or tablet and a phone. Earbuds or headphones can also be helpful. Make sure your devices are charged or charging cords are available.
