New Year’s Day Walk and Brown Bag Picnic

Monday, January 1, 2019, 10:30am-12:30pm, Snipes Pershing Ravine (also known as Norma Hamlin Park), Orangevale, CA

Join Chris Lewis and other native plant habitat enthusiasts for a New Year’s Day Chapter walk.  Take this opportunity to become familiar with this beautiful trail that leads up and down hills through a Blue Oak Woodland and over to river. The terrain can be slippery if wet. Expect to see a wide variety of plants (some dormant) and beautiful FERNS!

RAIN CANCELS. Check the Friday Walks website for the most up-to-date information.

Bring water, dress in layers, and bring snacks.  A walking stick might be helpful.

Note: Parking will be in a neighborhood; we encourage carpooling. There are no restrooms.

Directions and more information are on the SacValleyCNPS.org / Field Trips webpage.
