More about the Capital Region Organizing Project (CROP):
We are an affiliate of Gamaliel Network. The mission of the Gamaliel Network is to empower ordinary people to effectively participate in the political, environmental, social and economic decisions affecting their lives. Gamaliel’s diverse members apply their faith and values to the pursuit of equal opportunity for all, shared abundance, and stronger, more prosperous communities.
Our goal is to build a powerful organization that serves as a vehicle through which people will create democracy, civic engagement, broader leadership, collaboration and power to ensure justice and equity for everyone.
We share a set of values and/or faith that demand that all people be entitled to opportunity and justice. We believe the majority of our residents are being negatively impacted by public policies related to transportation, housing, education, jobs, immigration policy and do not have the power to change these policies and are being denied opportunity.
