Elderberry Farms Native Plant Nursery ~ Growing plants and friends since 2007
On the American River Parkway at Soil Born Farms near Hagan Park
2140 Chase Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA 95667
The nursery is operated by entirely volunteers from Sacramento Valley Chapter of the California Native Plant Society (CNPS). Volunteers are always encouraged to become members of CNPS (of course!) but membership is not required to volunteer.
Join Us! No experience needed!
Wednesday Workdays 10:00 – 1:00
We pot up seedling and learn various propagating techniques plants. We treat volunteers Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches! We work year-round in the warmth of a Greenhouse in cold months or in the shade of Sycamore-like trees in the heat!
We also work in our demonstration gardens. These are small sized landscapes that show others how to effectively use native plants in their own landscape. We need the help of community volunteers to maintain them. For more information email Chris Lewis at cnpschris [at] gmail [dot] com .
