The Environmental Council of Sacramento, Inc. (ECOS), is a nonprofit corporation incorporated in the State of California, with our principal office located in Sacramento County, California.
The purposes of ECOS are:
(a) To protect and preserve the environmental integrity and resources within the County of Sacramento, and the greater metropolitan Sacramento area;
(b) To educate the public regarding the environmental sensitivity of this area and the need to protect this area, through mailings, public forums, discussion groups; and by direct communication with public officials concerning policy issues relating to the goals of ECOS but such communications shall be limited by the regulations established for organizations operating under Section 50l (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, as amended.
